Radio Free Asia (RFA) Brochure
The challenge: RFA’s last piece, an 8-panel brochure designed in 2007, was outdated. The initial direction was to update the content and reprint “as is.”
The solution: Since I was new to RFA, we reviewed their work, goals, audience(s) and calls to action. It became clear that the old format didn’t do their work justice. I suggested that we still do a print piece (based on their audience and current outreach methods), but that we modernize the format and the messaging to show the clear benefits of their work in the region. One can easily flip through the brochure and get an immediate understanding of the work they do without having to read the entire piece, but if interested, more in-depth information is provided on each subject.
